Rewriting the Soundbite

My love,
you`re all the shock and awe
I`ll ever need.
I reclaim those words for good
when I look at you,
your smile a mile from falsehood,
your hand the only history on my shoulder
I`ll ever want to feel.

Lindsay Hodges
