Online
Jobsearching and Researching
Every
week sees a new recruitment website being launched in the UK.
This list is by no means comprehensive, but I have included what
is hopefully a selection of the better ones.
Kogan Page published
a great book to aid those searching for employment with the aid
of the internet, entitled "Online
Jobhunting: Great answers to tough questions". The
authors have over 40 years of recruitment consultancy experience
and career management between them, one-third of that on the
Internet. Between them they tested each of the sites which ey
list for ease of use, CV "banking" and registering
with their services. You can buy it now, here.
Caveat
- the search facility on most jobs websites is at best limited.
Generally, you will need to search for jobs under a specific
job title or heading, such as "Acountant - Acturial" or "Engineering
- Electronic - Telecomms"
