Recruitment and career planning information

"To plan one’s life is an optimistic folly - it’s ambushes all the way." President of the Royal Academy, Sir Philip Dowson (from the quotations section)

There comes a time in most people's career when they have had enough of their current job and feel the need to move on. This section aims to provide some advice and support to this process, particularly for armed forces job seekers and people on resettlement.

The print media jobs sections contains a reasonably comprehensive list of when each newspaper has appointments sections in print. I have also included a selection of on-line careers and employment sites and recruitment consultants.

There are some useful interview and application tips on the other careers resources and work will find you pages. How to get a job you'll love - A Practical Guide to Unlocking Your Talents and Finding Your Ideal Career is an ideal starting point for any jobsearch or career change.
