In Bosnia-Hercegovina, the founding congress of the SDA (Party of Democratic Action) debates and rejects the idea of presenting itself as a multi-ethnic party. Izetbegoviæ: "For now, unfortunately, our party must be sectional. The parties that try to represent everyone are small and weak. There is a real risk of civil war here; our main aim as a party is to keep Bosnia-Hercegovina together .. We need a big party, then we need political power." SDA's first commitment is to try to hold Yugoslavia together. | |
