Mark
Hollingsworth, Nick Fielding |
An
investigative book about MI5, which covers the running,
finances, structure, and relevance of the organization
today. David Shayler endorses the book himself, which
is an alternative slant to the more 'establishment'
authors. |

| The
Big Breach - From top secret to top security |
Richard
Tomlinson |
Tomlinson
is the renowned renegade MI6 officer whose public falling
out with the service brought it much unwanted publicity.
The first half of the book covers his recruitment and
training, the second claims to cover his operations
and dismissal. He makes some very obvious factual errors,
such as getting the calibre of the standard British
rifle wrong, which makes you question what else might
be fantasy. Very enjoyable read though. |
