Eating out in Birmingham - Oddments

    Birmingham
Crusty's Traditionally Baked Bread and Cakes

Crusty's is a traditional stand-alone local baker, with a pleasant selection of breads and cakes. I am particularly fond of their very meaty, but lean, Cornish pasties. They also bake traditional Irish wheaten bread with Neill's flour, to the time-honoured recipes. But make sure you ask for "soda bread", otherwise you will confuse them. Now, we all know that in Ireland, soda bread would mean something completely different, but this is still the best wheaten bread you will find in Birmingham!
